About the Company

The Amangeldy gas field, located in the Moyinkum district of Kazakhstan’s Zhambyl region—approximately 170 km from Taraz—was discovered in 1975. Commercial exploitation of the field began on October 23, 2003.

Originally founded in August 2003, Amangeldy Gas was appointed operator under an agreement signed with JSC “KazTransGas” on August 15, 2003. The company was responsible for managing operations and maintaining infrastructure across the contract area, including the Amangeldy Gas condensate field. On August 25, 2005, Amangeldy Gas was reorganized into LLP “Amangeldy Gas,” which assumed all associated rights and obligations. Since July 2012, LLP “Amangeldy Gas” has held the subsoil use rights for the contract territory.
